Artists' Responses

Art Consumers' Responses

The Design Process

One challenge that we face during the ideation process was converging our user research results into features and interactions of the product.

Since the results of our contextual inquiry are more abstract user needs and opinions, we dug deep into breaking these comments down and reframing them to what exactly the users, in this case the artists and the art consumers, want and what exactly would create value for them. For example, many artists we interviewed responded that they would like to receive response and feedback from their audience, creating a feedback portal for artists to receive comments from their viewers would add value for the artists.

We were able to create two sections and to condense these main features below to accommodate the different  needs of the artist and the art consumers.
